
Didnt stretch much at home last week. Maybe twice in total. Majority of stretching was done in class so not many pics were taken. Apologies for the weird stickers etc but im looking rather crappy in these pics and also have some butt showing so had to get creative lol.
I thought i also took a pic of my middles but i must have deleted it. I bought a Deuserband which is supposed to be good for getting your middle splits and straddle. When you wrap it around your back and legs in straddle, it pulls your legs open and you can really feel it so its good.
Managed to get flat in my left splits today without too much strecthing. I think the reason i didnt get as far last time was because i hadn’t slept the night before and i stretched in the morning and im not a morning person. Today i stretched in the afternoon for approx 45 mins so glad i got to the floor on the left. Hips are not as square as they can be but thats coz i was trying to take a pic with a selfie stick too!! Even so, they would need more squaring anyway. I can get to 1 block flat in class so need to acheive the same at home but would need to stretch for longer to reach that level.
My right side i never got completeley flat with the 2 blocks but flatter than i usually do at home especially only stretching for 45 mins but i did have the heating on high and had did some weights beforehand. My warmup was the dynamic kicks. All in all much happier than i was with my progress last time.
Note to self: I get better results when i have slept the night before and stretch in the afternoon. I wont get the results i do in class because thats 1.5 hour stretch class with another half hour class beforehand so i am EXTREMELY warm to be able to be flat on 4 blocks on my right side.
Must pay more attention to middles since they are approx 10 inches off the floor.
