
I don’t have a picture because I was stretching by myself and Ryan is currently using the computer but after a rough start to the challenge, or lack thereof, I FINALLY was able to get in a good stretching session today. After a yoga workout focused on warming up my back, I attempted the forearm backbend, and at one point, panicked because I thought I was going to smash my face into the mat but I got down. I GOT DOWN! After a second or two, my back protested so I had to come out. Not too bad since I pretty much haven’t focused on pole or stretching since the DC studio went on hiatus. I celebrated with attempting a shoulder mount. Messy and I used my feet to pull up but another small victory nonetheless!
I must remember to drink more water and my favorite joint and muscle teas! Back on the bandwagon! Here I go!
