Tips
- 4x per week with 1 hour practice sessions is a great place to start.
- Alternating days is also a good way to make sure you adequately rest.
- Muscles need time to recover and repair.
- Deep breathing and healthy eating helps immensely in recovery.
- It is also important to continually use your full range of motion without necessarily stretching. For instance standing leg circles, just a few to keep things loose.
These are just guidelines to help push yourself. It is important to stretch as often as possible but rest if you need time to recover, listen to your body.
- Go to Profile in the “Home” menu on the left menu -or- top menu bar.
- Click on Edit Profile scroll down to the Strengths & Weaknesses section.
When adding your strengths, remember you don’t have to be a pro stretcher to have strengths. What are you naturally good at?
Your weaknesses are your goals! If you have a weak left split, write it down as one of your goals and work on it!
